Her primary responsibilities include community master planning, urban design guidelines, development regulations, open space and landscape strategies, sustainable design principles for community development, green roof technologies and overseeing the production of presentation materials.

Jack is experienced in land-use planning, development and project management. He is responsible for managing landowner groups, providing strategic land-use planning advice and navigating the Ontario planning system through approvals for his clients. He also has extensive experience in mediation and settlement discussion before the Ontario Land Tribunal.

Joan is a principal of the firm with experience in the coordination, planning, design and approvals of a wide variety of projects, including large-scale residential communities and commercial, industrial and recreation/resort development. Her other experience includes urban design and the preparation and administration of financial schedules for cost-sharing agreements. Joan has primarily been involved in the planning and coordination of large-scale block or master plans. Her residential projects include developments ranging from small subdivisions to communities for up to 300,000-plus people.

Lauren is a land-use planner and project manager with Malone Given Parsons. She is a Registered Professional Planner and a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the American Planning Association. In her role, Lauren is responsible for strategic and land-use planning projects, policy formulation and development impact analyses for public and private sector clients. She has extensive experience managing a variety of applications through the development approvals process including representing clients at Committee and Council meetings and the Ontario Land Tribunal.

Lincoln is a planner and project manager with experience in the planning profession. He is responsible for strategic and land-use planning projects, policy formulation and development impact analyses for public and private sector clients. He has extensive experience managing a variety of applications through the development approvals process, which includes the preparation of necessary planning instruments and client representation in front of Committee, Council and the Ontario Land Tribunal.

Matthew is responsible for guiding planning initiatives through municipal and regional approval processes. His work includes master planning and project management for landowner groups, growth management and policy creation for municipal clients, and the preparation and management of development applications for individual landowners. Matthew is familiar with best practices of sustainability in the planning process, smart growth and growth management techniques.

Don is a founding partner of Malone Given Parsons Throughout his career, Don has gained diverse experience in the fields of land-use planning, municipal development controls and master planning. Don frequently plays the role of the lead planner and coordinator of large scale master plans. His leadership skills and a broad range of experience in all aspects of development enables him to effectively weave together a mix of planning and environmental and political objectives with landowners’ aspirations into a fabric of attractive and functional communities. He has presented expert testimony across a wide range of planning issues before the Ontario Land Tribunal.

Allyssa is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP), Member of the Canadian Institute of Planning (MCIP), and American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) with over 15 years of experience. With a master’s in urban design, Allyssa simultaneously addresses design and planning problems to deliver sound planning and urban design solutions. Founded through her broad collection of planning and urban design projects at all scales across Ontario and the US, Allyssa brings a strong understanding of the connection between the built environment, planning policies, and urban dynamics to projects. With a keen focus on creating great places, she understands the importance of defining and maintaining a strong vision to guide planning strategies. She has extensive experience with policy analysis, master planning, secondary plan development, growth management strategies, land needs assessments, scenario planning, urban design studies and guidelines, development applications, plans of subdivision, site analysis and design, public consultation, and graphic presentation.

Angela is a planner with Malone Given Parsons. She is experienced in land use and development planning, including the preparation and coordination of development applications for official plan and zoning by-law amendments, site plans, and minor variances. Angela builds on her previous experience at a planning law firm to conduct planning policy research and analysis, prepare due diligence and planning opinion reports, and assist clients through the planning approvals process.

Ashley is experienced in various aspects of development applications, such as project coordination, management, preparation of planning opinion and due diligence reports and policy interpretation. Ashley has acquired these skills through a range of projects, including development applications for subdivisions, site plan, official plan and zoning by-law amendments, minor variance and block plan development, landowner group management and planning appeals.

Bobby is an urban designer specializing in creating graphics for reports and presentations. This includes the creation of maps on aerial photography, charts, Ontario Land Tribunal exhibits, ads for publications, business cards, logos and projects that need a creative flair. He is committed to keeping up with new trends and design software.

Brenda is an administrative assistant and helps with all aspects of day-to-day work around the office, from filing paperwork and organizing company events to connecting clients with the right people and answering internal and external questions with polished expertise.

Catalina is a Junior Planner with Malone Givens Parsons. She is acquiring a wide range of experiences in land use planning by conducting due diligence research, preparing planning justification reports, and contributing to the management of projects. Catalina has acquired many technical skills by assisting in the submission of official plan amendments, zoning by-law amendments, and draft plan of subdivision applications. She has a keen interest in the development approvals process and enjoys fostering relationships with current and future clients.

Diane has been an urban designer with Malone Given Parsons and is responsible for design, layout and site planning of a wide variety of projects in residential development. Primarily, Diane is involved with the coordination and design of plans of subdivision, large scale block plans and master plans and mapping. Other experience includes the preparation and submission of applications for official plan and zoning by-law amendments and plans of subdivision.

She has experience in various aspects of the development approvals process, including background research, the interpretation and review of provincial, regional, and municipal policies, and the preparation of planning opinion reports and due diligence reports. Elyse has acquired these skills by assisting in submissions for official plan amendments, zoning by-law amendments, draft plan of subdivision, site plan, and minor variance applications. She is currently working toward becoming a Registered Professional Planner.

BAA

Graham Pascoe has been a designer and draftsman for Malone Given Parsons. His work includes preparing draft plans of subdivision, site plans, secondary plans, customized maps and diagrams. His prior experience includes drafting work with other planning firms and managing a recreational facility in Toronto.

Jenner works in the graphics department with Malone Given Parsons. He attended Mohawk College in Hamilton where he completed the Urban and Regional Planning course. He is responsible for creating report graphics, concept plans, block plans and plan of subdivision design and revisions. His other experience includes assisting in the preparation of zoning by-law amendment and plan of subdivision submissions. Jenner is interested in mapmaking, archeology and history, as well as new developments in the GTHA.

Julia has acted as an office administrator for Malone Given Parsons. She is responsible for word processing and general administrative and clerical support, including accounting assistance.

Natalie has acquired these skills through a range of projects, including official plan and zoning by-law amendment, draft plan of subdivision, site plan, and minor variance applications, as well as block plan development, landowners group management, and planning appeals. She wishes to continue to advance her project management skills.

Nicole is a GIS specialist who brings a strong set of skills and experience to the implementation of GIS technology. She has been involved in several projects with significant GIS components focused on database design and management, spatial analysis, density analysis and land-needs assessment. Her extensive knowledge of cartographic principles is used for effective communication of results. She hopes to continue to advance her skills in all areas of GIS with a continuation of work on a wide range of projects.

He also produces contextual graphics for planning reports. Additionally, he performs policy research by reviewing documents, such as zoning by-laws and official plans, and prepares development applications. He wants to expand his skills by remaining up-to-date with the latest applicable policies.
