Big Picture Planning and Community Design // OPPI 2015

On October 7, 2015 Matthew Cory was a speaker at the OPPI 2015 Conference located at the Allstream Conference in Downtown Toronto. He was also part of the Planning Knowledge Exchange Committee that helped put this event together. Four themes were highlighted this year that included: economics & finance, political administrative interface, fundamentals of community design and trends in zoning.

Matthew’s presentation examined the future of the Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH). As the first 10-year review of the Growth Plan for the GGH, the presentation provided a planner’s overview of the past 9 years of implementation and a look forward to the next 30 years.
